Church of Our lady, Bruge

One of the thing we commonly did during our visit in Europe is go see inside the Churches.  We think that it is one of the big tourist attractions here in Europe since the Catholic church had a big influence in building this nation's culture and traditions. And not only that it seems that churches here is home of many art masterpieces.

The last place we visited is the Church of Our Lady Brugge. It's the home of the famous Michael Angelo "Madonna and Child" and a lot of flemish paintings. The church was under renovation so most of the art works are kept behind panels. The entrance is 2 Euros per person.

We fell in love with Brugge

Panoramic view of Brugge Square
Its our first year wedding anniversary and we spent it strolling around Brugge, Belgium. We visited three places, The Basilica of Holy Blood, The Belfry and The Our lady of Brugge. We took some pictures as we walked and found our way to these places. It is an absolutely romantic place in every corner.

One thing that is different from what we are used to is dinning in. All the restaurants in Brugge have pretty much the same menu and prices. For example they have a full set of meal which cost 15 Euros. You choose from what is available in their menu. We had a flemish style beef stew and a flemish style rabbit which tasted like turkey.
